Train with a partner. Link by code, see each other's week.
GLEAMO lets you connect with a training partner by entering their 6-character code, then shows each of you the other's weekly completion side by side — an accountability loop between people who actually know each other, not a social feed of strangers.

What training with a partner does
It gives you the one thing that keeps most people consistent — someone who sees your week, and whose week you see — without turning your workouts into content.
Social fitness apps solve accountability with a feed: post your workout, collect likes, follow strangers. That works for some people and exhausts others. GLEAMO's partner feature is deliberately smaller. You connect with one person — a spouse, a best friend, a sibling in another city — by typing in their 6-character code. From then on, your home screen shows both of your weekly completion percentages next to each other: You 77% · Christopher 44%. That's it. No comments, no public profile, no stranger's PR in your face.
You don't need to follow the same plan. Each of you has your own GLEAMO program built around your own goals and equipment; what you share is how the week is going. Imported creator workouts count toward your week too, so a partner sees the whole picture — and a quiet 44% next to a 77% tends to get someone off the couch faster than a notification ever will.
Want a second partner? Add another code. It stays a circle you chose, not a network.
How it works
- Find your code. Every GLEAMO account has a 6-character connect code. Yours is in the app; share it however you like — text, AirDrop, out loud.
- Enter theirs. In GLEAMO, type your partner's code into "Their code" and tap Connect. That's the whole setup — no friend requests, no approvals, no username hunting.
- Train your own plan. You each keep your own program. GLEAMO built yours around your goals, equipment, and injuries; it built theirs around theirs.
- See each other's week. Your home screen shows both weekly completion percentages side by side, updated as you each log workouts — including imported ones.
- Add another if you want. A second or third partner is one more code. The view stays a small circle, never a feed.
Who this is for — and who it isn't
GLEAMO's partner feature is for two people (or a very small group) who want to keep each other honest without performing for an audience.
Built for you if
- You and a partner or spouse want to train "together" on different schedules or in different gyms
- You have a long-distance workout buddy and want more than a text saying "did you go?"
- You want an accountability partner, not followers
- You each need your own plan — different goals, different equipment — but one shared scoreboard
- You're on iPhone
Probably not for you if
- You want a community — clubs, challenges, a feed of other people's workouts. Strava and Hevy are built for that
- You want to run a group of ten or twenty and rank them on a leaderboard
- You want to share the exact same program and see each other's every set
- You're on Android (GLEAMO is iOS only right now)
GLEAMO vs. Strava vs. Hevy
Strava and Hevy are social networks with workouts in them. GLEAMO is a workout plan with one small social feature in it. Which one you want depends on whether you want an audience.
Strava has the largest fitness community in the world, clubs, segments, and challenges, and it's the default for runners and cyclists. Hevy pairs an excellent free strength logger with a feed where you follow friends and see their sessions. Both run on Android. If that's what you want, they're better at it than GLEAMO will ever try to be. GLEAMO's partner feature is for the opposite case: you already know who's keeping you accountable, and you want a plan built for you plus one quiet number from them.

Questions about training with a partner
Is there a workout app where I can share progress with one friend, not a whole feed?
Yes — GLEAMO. You connect with a specific person by entering their 6-character code, and your home screen shows both of your weekly completion percentages side by side. There's no public profile, no feed, and no followers.
Is GLEAMO a good workout app for couples?
Yes. Each of you gets your own plan around your own goals and equipment — so one of you can train at home with dumbbells while the other lifts at a gym — and you share one scoreboard for the week. You don't have to be in the same room or on the same program.
Does it work for a long-distance workout partner?
Yes. Distance doesn't matter; the connection is a code, not a location. A friend in another city sees your week the same way a spouse across the kitchen does.
Do we need to follow the same plan?
No. GLEAMO builds each person's plan separately from their own questionnaire. What you share is weekly completion, not the workouts themselves.
Can I have more than one partner?
Yes. After your first connection, the app offers "Add another code." It's designed to stay a small circle you chose rather than a network, so there's no discovery, following, or leaderboard.
Can my partner see my exact sets and weights?
No — they see how your week is going, not a log of every set. GLEAMO shows completion, which is enough to keep each other honest without turning your training into content.
Does training with a partner cost extra?
No. It's included in GLEAMO Pro: 7-day free trial, then $6/month or $35/year. Each partner needs their own GLEAMO account.
Pick the one person who'll notice.
